Tapas Ole in Lubeck

Spain on the Baltic Sea ... very tasty.

First of all, I have to say that the concept of this restaurant doesn't quite work out for me. A 14-course tapas trip is offered twice a day. There were four of us and thought you could order tapas a la carte. Unfortunately, this is not possible, as I said, there is only the option of 14 courses, so we decided to go for this. About the tapas you can say that in my opinion they weren't good in terms of taste or quality. Canned olives, inexpensive ingredients and really all the dishes tasted like cinnamon, which took a lot of getting used to, especially in the tuna and bean cream. This is of course a matter of taste, but I expect a restaurant that advertises and stands for tapas to have a larger selection of flavors. In a review on the Internet, another lady had already criticized this "oversweetening problem", but I wanted to convince myself and unfortunately had to find out that she was right. For me, this has nothing to do with Spanish tapas, I've also eaten much better ones in non-Spanish restaurants, and 25 euros per person is simply too much for the quality and taste of the food. Another point of criticism was the selection of the wine. The adjoining wine bar, which apparently belongs to the restaurant, also offers its wines here. There are only dry wines on the whole menu, regardless of whether they are white, pink or red. There is only one semi-dry white wine to be found. I found this to be a shame, too, as the wine bar triggered false expectations in us. But that was still manageable. However, the service was positive, always explaining which course was coming and overall very friendly and making sure that, despite the disappointment with the meal, we had an evening that was okay. All in all I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially not for real tapas connoisseurs, because there are far better restaurants there.

Wanted to eat tapas. Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation. That is full, good for the host. The type of cancellation would have been more friendly in any case!

The tapas trip is a nice concept. The service is nice. The tapas tasted ok, but I've eaten better ones. The price / performance ratio is also absolutely okay. All in all, I wouldn't do the tapas trip again.

It's a shame, tapas' were good, but twice cold, hard spaghetti at our place and at the next table, as well as first the food and then the cutlery etc., unfortunately left a bad impression. Mouth / nose protection of the service was more of a pretense than to protect the guests, distance between the tables much too small, a shame for such a nice location.

Very tasty tapas. Great concept with the tapas trip (12 courses with different tapas). Super committed and friendly staff. There is definitely more potential in there. We will definitely come back.

Mega Tappas Restaurant with a slightly different concept! The 12 Tappas courses are all incredibly delicious and each one is worth trying! Staff was super friendly and courteous :) Always my pleasure!!

Moin, yes yesterday we as Travemuender tried out the culinary side of the Priwall again with very good friends and stopped by at Tapas Ole in SLOW DOWN. In addition to the great outdoor area, the restaurant offers a nice ambience. We were welcomed very friendly and shown to the table. After ordering the drinks, the journey through the tapas program started. And that was extraordinarily extensive and also of very good quality. The staff had everything under control, they were very courteous and always kept an eye on the guests. At this point I would like to compliment the team at Tapas Ole. The later change to the outdoor area was not a complication, because we wanted to enjoy the sunset in the spacious outdoor area after this delicious meal. In conclusion after 4 hours: Staff great ambience great value for money great. We'll see you again, guaranteed. Best Regards

Both the food and the staff in the Tapas Ole restaurant are excellent. A visit there is highly recommended!
